Mechanical Training Courses from American Trainco

American Trainco offers a variety of mechanical training courses in a public seminar  or in house training  format. Pump Maintenance Training – We offer two different pump classes in our centrifugal pump training lineup. One focuses on pump maintenance and pump repair training. This class is for those in the field who run into problems that need to be quickly fixed on the spot. We call it accordingly our "Pump Repair & Maintenance"  seminar. The other course called "Pumps & Pump Systems". This class focuses on the upfront application, specification and installation of pumps with the goal of eliminating the need for frequent repairs in the first place.

Hydraulic Training – Our fluid power training course is called "Understanding & Troubleshooting Hydraulics". In the first portion of this hydraulic training class students learn about various fluid power components, how they work and what they do. In the second half of the class students use fluid power schematics to achieve different types of work and then learn troubleshooting techniques to quickly find and fix the most common fluid power problems.

Other Class topics – Other seminars offered on a limited public seminar basis but always available in an in-house training format include "Plumbing and Pipefitting for Plants and Buildings", "Steam Systems Maintenance, Safety & Optimization", "Maintenance Welding", and "Troubleshooting Mechanical Drive Systems & Rotating Equipment".
