Notes about Qualified Electrical Worker Training
The OSHA and NFPA offer only general guidelines to help employers identify qualified personnel without defining “qualified” or what training a qualified employee must have for what electrical work, because every facility and situation has different needs and risks. Employers must identify the skills they require for their setting.
American Trainco’s electrical training seminars offer a useful baseline to help employers identify and begin developing the right type and level of training and qualifications. We provide students with the foundation they require with safety training and useful information, which employers can use at part of an integrated training program to produce qualified electrical workers. Most approaches start with basic electrical safety and training, and then add advanced education about topics such as VFDs and PLCs as necessary.
For more information about the courses above or how we can help your company meet its electrical training qualification and safety needs, please contact us. We look forward to helping make you a more valuable asset at your facility, and can suggest other topics for courses to meet specific safety needs, such as HVAC training and plant management.
