Purpose of Seminar:
The purpose of this "hands-on" seminar is to provide students with
the skills needed for the creation, testing and troubleshooting of electrical
ladder diagrams, schematics and one line diagrams in their plant or facility.
Students will be provided with a Laptop Computer and use Visual Simulation
Software to create, modify and experiment with over 30 complete circuits that
can be tested from the three phase power components to the control circuit.
Who should take this course?
This course is designed for anyone who needs to understand electrical drawings
and schematics for servicing and troubleshooting facility and industrial electrical
systems. Attendees come from a wide variety of industries, skill-levels, company
sizes, and backgrounds - as long as you work with electricity this course can be a
benefit for you. It is an introductory level class that assumes no prior knowledge
of electrical drawings. It is basic enough that individuals with no electrical
background can understand the subject matter. It is great for technicians and
maintenance personnel, engineers, supervisors or anyone wishing to learn more about
this subject.
Attendees include...
All maintenance personnel in:
- Manufacturing Plants
- Commercial Buildings
- Hospitals
- Waste Water Facilities
- Schools
- Government Buildings
